are opening a call for
The XXVII International Art Competition “Joy of Europe

This year’s International Art Competition, for the 27th time since it was founded, invites children and young artists (from 4 to 18 years of age) from all over the world to use their rich palette and show that the true creative value of the children’s art creation has been recognized and confirmed from the perspective of deep psychology and modern view of art.

Expert jury shall select the works to be exhibited and presented with awards and honorable mentions in individual and group competitions, and in five age categories. Its primary focus will be the emotional and esthetic creativity of children and the young, as well as a broad specter of cultural diversity and pedagogical approaches. Preference will be given to the works which show a particular signature, impressive artistic skill and visual literacy of the author, according to their age.

The selected works will traditionally find their place on “Joy of Europe” post stamps issued by the Public Enterprise “Pošta Srbije” each year by the end of September, with the cooperation of the Editor of the International Art Competition “Joy of Europe”.

The works which received the awards and honorary mentions will be exhibited in the Gallery of the Children’s Cultural Centre of Belgrade. The guests of the International Art Encounters will participate in an urban art colony.
